Shang Properties delivers. This was what I told Nicole Hizon, Shang Properties’ in-house Group Sales Channel head, when I toured the show suite of Shang Summit last month.
Shang Summit, Shang Properties’ first residential development in Quezon City, may still be under construction, but its promise is already evident. You’ll see it in its beautiful showroom, where every space offers a preview of how this seasoned upscale developer intends to take luxury living in this city to new heights.
Nicole and I had previously talked about Shang Summit during my visit to Aurelia Residences in Bonifacio Global City. Finally, I got to visit this show suite and my first reaction was simply, wow! The show suite feels polished and elegant yet still inviting. It’s also so spacious that you get to imagine what it might actually feel like to live at Shang Summit.
A legacy, an heirloom
Shang Summit rises at the corner of Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, Scout Bayoran and Scout Borromeo streets, near schools, universities, medical institutions, restaurants and commercial destinations.
And to be honest, having much of what you need nearby makes a huge and noticeable difference. It’s not just convenient—it makes life so much easier.
I think the location also feels right for Shang Properties’ first residential development in this part of the metro. It brings the brand’s signature approach to luxury living to a new neighborhood, with generous spaces, thoughtful design and the kind of upkeep that helps a property remain attractive over time.
That is also why I understood what Nicole meant when she described Shang Summit as more than an investment. A residence here could very well become one of those homes the family decides to hold on to—like a legacy or an heirloom you can pass on to the next generation.
The Shang experience
As soon as you walk inside, you’ll easily notice two things: the huge, beautiful scale model at the center and the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, which give you a preview of Shang Summit’s lounge areas. It’s the kind of serene setting made for morning coffee or casual get togethers—something you’d enjoy once Shang Summit is completed.
To the left, you’ll get a closer look at the two-level amenity deck, with spaces designed for every generation in the family.
From there, we moved to the model studio unit, about 37 sqm in size. Calling it a studio almost undersells it. The layout creates zones without chopping the residence into tiny compartments. The kitchen occupies one side, while the sleeping, living and dining areas flow naturally through the rest of the space. Select appliances and fixtures are also included, helping the unit feel complete from the beginning.
I love that transition.
Although the studio unit is technically one open space, it still has the visual rhythm of separate rooms.
The one-bedroom unit, at around 61 sqm, felt even more surprising. For me, it was a generous space. The kitchen leads naturally toward the dining and living areas, while the living room opens to a veranda that also connects to the bedroom. The unit also showed how furniture can define spaces without closing them off.
Built for every chapter
What the tour made clear is that Shang Summit is designed to remain premium and relevant even as life changes. A studio can be a first home or a city base, while the larger residences offer room for entertaining, growing families, and multigenerational living.
And that I think is what makes a home here at Shang Summit worth passing on. You are not simply leaving behind a unit, but rather a well-located, well-maintained residence the next generation would still and proudly want to call home.
